Flag-flying at the Millennium Garden
This month, on 22nd February, we flew the Girl Guide and Scouts Flags to celebrate the 100th anniversary of World Thinking Day. World Thinking Day has been celebrated since 1926 and serves as a day of international friendship, reflection, and action for Girl Scouts and Girl Guides around the world. It is an opportunity to think about the global community and the issues that affect girls and young women.

Chipping Norton Music Festival begins on 6th March!

Chipping Norton Music Festival is back with a fortnight’s worth of varied entertainment from Friday 6th March to Sunday 22nd March. This year’s programme promises an enjoyable and diverse range of performances and classes and we are looking forward to welcoming all those involved to the Town Hall.
The music festival has been a special part of the town’s calendar for over a century, and it offers performers of all ages and abilities to showcase their passions. From classical solos to community choirs, and from school groups to seasoned performers, the festival captures the rich musical diversity of Chipping Norton and beyond.
The festival not only celebrates local talent, but also brings the community together, offering a chance to support young musicians, cheer on local groups, and soak up the creative atmosphere right here in the heart of the town.
For full details of performances, dates, and tickets, please visit the Chipping Norton Music Festival website or follow their social media channels for the latest updates.
