We are deeply concerned about the proposal by OCC to consult on closing the Henry Cornish
Care Centre.
This care centre is at the hub of our community and replaced provision previously provided by the
NHS at Chipping Norton War Memorial Hospital and OCC at the Castle View Care Home.
Our community deserve answers from OCC & OSJCT about their shock decision to consult on
closing Henry Cornish – which is a purpose-built facility only 15 years old.
We will work with our MP & County Councillor to get those answers.
We encourage all residents to respond to the consultation – especially those immediately
impacted by any potential closure.
Chipping Norton Town Council will be making a formal submission to the consultation.
